ATTACK OF THE HERBALS

Cinemavixion Review

David Ryan Keith's "Attack of the Herbals" plunges viewers into the quaint, yet ultimately terrifying, Scottish village of Lobster Cove. What begins as a seemingly simple tale of two friends, Jackson McGregor and Russell, discovering a mysterious crate of herbal tea washes ashore quickly devolves into a darkly comedic horror narrative. The tea, initially a source of vitality for the townsfolk, soon reveals a sinister side, transforming the villagers into flesh-eating zombies. Keith masterfully blends elements of B-movie horror with a quirky, almost absurdist, sense of humor, creating a unique and memorable cinematic experience. While perhaps not for the faint of heart, "Attack of the Herbals" offers a surprisingly engaging plot with a cult following, proving that even the most mundane of beverages can lead to the most extraordinary of nightmares.
