ASYLUM OF FEAR

Cinemavixion Review

Craig Deering's "Asylum of Fear" plunges viewers into the chilling depths of a haunted mental institution, weaving a narrative that skillfully blends paranormal investigation with a dark historical mystery. The film excels in its atmospheric tension, drawing audiences into the unsettling plight of paranormal investigators who uncover a decades-old story of a deranged doctor and missing children. Maurice Demus, Michael Medford, and Callie Deering deliver performances that anchor the escalating dread, making the characters' struggle for survival palpable. While the film may not boast widespread critical acclaim, its commitment to a claustrophobic horror experience and its exploration of institutional madness offer a compelling watch for fans of the genre. The narrative’s twists, rooted in the asylum’s grim past, ensure that "Asylum of Fear" remains a memorable descent into terror.
