ASTRO

Cinemavixion Review

In "Astro," director Asif Akbar crafts a narrative that delves into the ambitious dreams of private space exploration and the unsettling consequences of humanity's reach exceeding its grasp. The film centers on a billionaire's clandestine program, which culminates in the retrieval of an extraterrestrial from an uncharted world. This discovery, however, is not merely a scientific triumph but the harbinger of unforeseen complexities, as the alien entity carries secrets that challenge our understanding of existence. While the film garnered a modest reception, its premise offers a compelling blend of sci-fi intrigue and cautionary tale. Gary Daniels and his co-stars navigate the narrative's darker currents, exploring themes of hubris and the unknown. "Astro" is a thought-provoking, albeit flawed, journey into the cosmic unknown, inviting audiences to ponder the ethical dimensions of discovery.
