ASTEROID-A-GEDDON

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Asteroid-a-Geddon,' director Geoff Meed crafts a familiar yet urgent tale of planetary peril. The film centers on a global summit's failure to avert an asteroid collision, shifting focus to a young tech genius and her specialized team. While the premise treads well-worn ground in the disaster genre, the execution benefits from a committed performance by Eric Roberts and a narrative that, despite its shortcomings, maintains a sense of escalating tension. The external data points to a modest reception, with an IMDb rating of 2.5/10, suggesting that while the ambition to deliver a thrilling sci-fi spectacle is present, the film may struggle to resonate with a broader audience. Nevertheless, for fans of last-minute, high-stakes survival stories, 'Asteroid-a-Geddon' offers a compact, albeit flawed, cinematic experience.
