Cinemavixion Review

ASHCAN COPIES plunges viewers into a stark, unsettling portrait of societal outcasts grappling with profound psychological turmoil. Directed by Andy and Matt Sylvester, this gritty 80-minute feature delves into the bleak existence of three individuals in a small town, where desperation and disturbed desires fuel a narrative of calculated violence and dark obsessions. The film's strength lies in its unflinching depiction of characters pushed to their limits, exploring themes of necrophilia, manipulation, and the unraveling of carefully constructed realities. Danny Davidson, Christopher Ellis, and Jorge Escamilla deliver compelling performances, embodying the desperation and psychological fragility at the heart of this disturbing, yet captivating, tale. It's a raw, uncompromising look at the underbelly of human nature, offering a challenging but rewarding cinematic experience for those drawn to dark, character-driven dramas.
