AS OF YET

Cinemavixion Review

Taylor Garron and Chanel James's 2021 film, 'As of Yet,' offers a unique and intimate look at navigating personal relationships and life's uncertainties during the unprecedented times of the Coronavirus pandemic. Told entirely through the digital medium of video calls and online diaries, the film immerses the viewer in Naomi's world as she juggles a difficult roommate situation and the blossoming of a new romance. Despite its unconventional narrative structure, 'As of Yet' has garnered critical acclaim, evidenced by a remarkable 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and one win with two nominations. While the IMDb rating stands at a 5.6/10, the film's innovative storytelling and relevant themes, brought to life by the performances of Taylor Garron, Eva Victor, and Amir Khan, make it a compelling watch for those seeking a contemporary comedy that reflects the modern experience.
