ARSENAL

Cinemavixion Review

Steven C. Miller's 'Arsenal' plunges into the gritty underbelly of crime, presenting a taut thriller centered on familial loyalty. The narrative skillfully weaves the fates of the Lindel brothers, JP and Mikey, with Adrian Grenier delivering a compelling performance as the determined JP, forced to confront his past and his principles when Mikey, played with a certain desperation by Johnathon Schaech, falls into the clutches of the menacing mob boss Eddie King, embodied by Nicolas Cage. The film benefits from a strong supporting cast, including John Cusack as a seasoned detective. Despite a bleak critical reception, 'Arsenal' offers a character-driven crime drama that explores the lengths one will go to for family, set against a backdrop of escalating violence and difficult choices.
