ARMENIAN HAUNTING

Cinemavixion Review

Art Arutyunyan's "Armenian Haunting" (2018) delves into the chilling intersection of family history and the supernatural. The film follows an Armenian-American journalist who finds herself drawn into a paranormal investigation as she uncovers a disturbing connection between her family's sudden deaths and an unfolding mystery. Starring Vaneh Assadourian, Jay Dersahagian, and Kyle Patrick Darling, the movie attempts to weave a narrative of personal discovery with spectral encounters. While the premise promises a compelling blend of drama, horror, and mystery, its execution, as indicated by a 2.6 rating on IMDb, suggests a film that may struggle to fully realize its ambitious scope. Despite its critical reception, "Armenian Haunting" offers a unique cultural perspective within the horror genre, inviting audiences to explore themes of heritage and the unknown.
