AREA OF CONFLICT

Cinemavixion Review

Tino Christian Von Struckmann's 2017 action thriller, "Area of Conflict," plunges viewers into a brutal world of revenge and mercenary warfare. The film's premise, centered on a young girl seeking retribution against human traffickers who decimated her village, quickly evolves into a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game. As the narrative unfolds, the hunter often becomes the hunted, with the protagonist proving to be a formidable force against seasoned professionals. Von Struckmann, who also stars in the film alongside Ted McGinley and Jake Busey, crafts a gritty tale that explores the blurred lines between enemy and ally. While the film may not have garnered widespread critical acclaim, its intense action sequences and relentless pursuit of vengeance offer a compelling, albeit grim, cinematic experience for fans of the genre. The plot, which sees the protagonist eventually turning the tables on her pursuers and forming an uneasy alliance, highlights themes of survival and the complex nature of conflict in a lawless landscape.
