ARCHEOLOGISTS SOLVE THE MYSTERY OF THE HEADLESS ANGLO-SAXON SKELETON

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the fascinating enigma of an Anglo-Saxon skeleton discovered beneath Stonehenge, a figure unearthed after more than 1,300 years. The narrative skillfully employs modern forensic techniques to illuminate the life and violent demise of this individual. While the precise context of his death remains a subject of debate, the evidence points away from a battlefield or ritualistic sacrifice, leaning instead towards a possible execution. The film compellingly reconstructs the possible scenarios, inviting viewers to ponder the social and judicial practices of the era and the chilling circumstances that led to such a brutal end.
