ARCHEOLOGISTS HUNT FOR THE MISSING CISTERCIAN ABBEY OF POULTON

Cinemavixion Review

Tony Robinson leads a determined archaeological expedition to the Welsh border in pursuit of the elusive Cistercian Abbey of Poulton. This documentary delves into the intriguing mystery surrounding an abbey that, despite historical records, has eluded modern discovery. While a chapel and skeletal remains have been unearthed, suggesting a significant monastic presence, the main abbey structure remains conspicuously absent. The narrative skillfully builds tension as the team grapples with this lack of definitive progress, exploring a controversial theory that challenges conventional understanding of the site's history. "Archeologists Hunt For The Missing Cistercian Abbey Of Poulton" offers a compelling blend of historical inquiry and investigative journalism, inviting viewers to piece together the fragmented past alongside the dedicated researchers.
