APEVSMONSTER

Cinemavixion Review

In 'ApeVsMonster,' director Daniel Lusko presents a creature feature where an extraterrestrial ape's arrival on Earth inadvertently triggers a colossal conflict. Upon crashing, the ape's unique biological byproduct — a transformative sludge — imbues both itself and a local scorpion with immense size. This sets the stage for an epic battle of dominance between two monstrous titans. While the premise promises a spectacle of giant-scale destruction, the execution leans into the inherent absurdity of its concept. The film features Eric Roberts, Arianna Scott, and Katie Sereika, who navigate this B-movie scenario. It's a straightforward monster mash-up, best enjoyed by those seeking a campy, no-holds-barred creature feature that doesn't take itself too seriously.
