George Mendeluk's 'Ants on a Plane' presents a chilling premise: a flight returning from a Caribbean eco-paradise becomes a battleground when a swarm of army ants infiltrates the aircraft. The vacationers and honeymooners aboard find their adventure turning into a fight for survival as the 'super-organism' emerges, driven by an imperative to feed and defend. The tension escalates as the ants overwhelm victims, and a secondary threat arises when the pilot is denied landing permission due to fears of an uncontrollable infestation, reminiscent of a plague.
