ANTS ATTACK!

Cinemavixion Review

Carolyn Banks' "Ants Attack!" presents a fascinating, albeit brief, glimpse into the astonishing power of collective insect behavior. The film highlights the sheer scale of fire ant populations, reportedly numbering in the billions, and their remarkable capacity for swift, coordinated action. Banks, who also stars in the film, seems to direct our attention to the awe-inspiring, almost terrifying, efficiency with which these tiny creatures can mobilize. While the narrative focuses on the potential for disruption, particularly in Texas, the underlying theme is the potent force of unity, even among the smallest of beings. It's a compelling, if unsettling, reminder of nature's intricate and often overwhelming capabilities, urging viewers to consider the significant impact of seemingly insignificant forces.
