ANOTHER SOUL

Cinemavixion Review

Paul Chau's "Another Soul" plunges viewers into a chilling narrative of familial dread and supernatural intrusion. Set in 2018, the film follows Kent, who, after a devastating house fire, seeks refuge with his wife and two children in a remote ancestral home. This supposed sanctuary, however, harbors a malevolent entity that has plagued the family for generations. The spirit's insidious grip tightens as it possesses their young son, unearthing a dark family secret and a terrifying curse. Starring Maura Grady, Garlan Green, and Wyatt Kuether, the film navigates the harrowing journey of a father forced to confront generational demons to protect his children from an encroaching evil. While the film has garnered modest attention, its exploration of inherited trauma and the fight for a family's soul offers a compelling, albeit dark, cinematic experience.
