ANOTHER SOUL

Cinemavixion Review

Paul Chau's "Another Soul" plunges into the harrowing territory of demonic possession, presenting a desperate couple's fight to reclaim their daughter from an encroaching evil. Released in 2018, the film stars Maura Grady, Garlan Green, and Wyatt Kuether, who lend their performances to this supernatural thriller. The narrative centers on Megan, whose recurring nightmares portend a terrifying 18th birthday when a spectral entity threatens to claim her completely. As Megan succumbs to a trance-like state, her parents, Rob and Susan, enlist the help of psychics in a race against time to save their daughter's soul. While the film delves into familiar themes of parental love and the supernatural, its grim portrayal and a reported IMDb rating of 2.2 suggest a challenging viewing experience, yet one that may resonate with hardcore fans of possession narratives seeking a dark and intense story.
