ANIMAL AMONG US

Cinemavixion Review

John Woodruff's "Animal Among Us" plunges viewers into the chilling aftermath of a decades-old mystery at Merrymaker Campgrounds. The film adeptly weaves a tale of terror, picking up fifteen years after a brutal double murder, officially attributed to an animal attack, led to the camp's condemnation. Yet, as the narrative unfolds, it becomes clear that the true horror lurking in the woods has never truly left. Starring Larisa Oleynik, Christian Oliver, and Erin Daniels, the movie capitalizes on its atmospheric setting to build suspense, hinting at a darkness that transcends simple explanations. Despite a reported 18 wins, the film's IMDb rating suggests a polarizing reception, but its commitment to a classic horror premise makes it a compelling watch for fans of the genre seeking a well-crafted mystery with a terrifying undercurrent.
