ANGER HAS A SECRET

Cinemavixion Review

Terrisha Kearse's "Anger Has A Secret" is a compelling exploration of how unresolved trauma can fracture a life. The narrative, centered on EJ Henderson's struggle with lies and betrayal, effectively portrays a descent into isolation, with his creative outlet—writing—becoming both solace and a potential catalyst for destruction. The film masterfully intertwines the protagonist's haunted past with his precarious present, suggesting that true escape can only be found through confronting buried truths. Jah Shams, Bee-Be Smith, and Toni Youngblood deliver performances that anchor the emotional weight of the story. While the film dives deep into personal turmoil, it ultimately offers a poignant reflection on the necessity of healing and the arduous path toward self-acceptance. Its raw honesty and introspective nature make it a noteworthy piece for audiences seeking character-driven drama.
