This documentary, "Chariots Of The Gods: 50th Anniversary," offers a compelling exploration of Erich von Daniken's controversial theories about extraterrestrial influence on ancient civilizations. Presented in a newly restored 2K version, the film delves into von Daniken's claims, drawing from his seminal book to posit that alien visitors shaped early human history. The documentary's recognition by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as one of the Top 100 Documentaries of All Time speaks to its enduring impact and the fascination it continues to hold. Complementing the main feature, the bonus documentary "Mysteries of the Gods" extends this investigation, further pursuing von Daniken's search for definitive proof. It's a thought-provoking piece that invites viewers to reconsider our past and the potential for ancient cosmic connections.
