AN EVERGREEN CHRISTMAS

Cinemavixion Review

Jeremy Culver's "An Evergreen Christmas" offers a poignant return to the heart of the holiday season, blending familial obligation with the pursuit of personal dreams. Charleene Closshey delivers a compelling performance as Evie Lee, a musician forced to confront her past and the struggling Christmas tree farm left behind by her father. The film beautifully navigates the tension between a glamorous career and the deep-rooted legacy of home. Closshey is supported by a heartfelt ensemble, including the late, great Robert Loggia and the vibrant Naomi Judd, whose presence adds significant emotional weight. As Evie grapples with inheritance taxes and her brother's dismay, the narrative unfolds into a warm, musical tale about rediscovering one's voice and the true meaning of belonging. "An Evergreen Christmas" is a touching reminder that sometimes, the greatest melodies are found in the places we least expect.
