Cinemavixion Review

Theo Brown's 'An Electric Sleep' plunges into a chilling narrative of desperation and survival. The film masterfully intertwines elements of science fiction and thriller, following a dying teenager's perilous quest for a cure. The plot thickens as a family of scientists, creators of the very disease plaguing the protagonist, becomes the target of both the afflicted and ruthless mercenaries. The performances by Mikel Miller, Lys Perez, and Aqueela Zoll anchor the story with raw intensity, navigating complex moral landscapes under the weight of a deadly secret. With 8 wins and 4 nominations, the film has garnered critical attention, suggesting a compelling viewing experience that explores the ethical boundaries of scientific advancement and the extreme measures people will take when faced with mortality. It's a thought-provoking journey into the heart of a dangerous conspiracy.
