AMONG WOLVES

Cinemavixion Review

Shawn Convey's documentary "Among Wolves" offers a poignant and ultimately hopeful look at a small mountain town in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina. The film centers on Lija, a veteran who, as a young man, defended his community and now leads a multi-ethnic biker club known as the Wolves. In the face of economic hardship and the lingering shadows of PTSD, Lija and his comrades embark on a mission that extends beyond personal struggles to encompass the protection of a threatened herd of wild horses. This act becomes a symbol of healing for their fractured community. "Among Wolves" is praised for its intimate perspective and has been recognized with awards at international festivals, making it a compelling exploration of resilience and collective purpose in the aftermath of conflict.
