AMONG THE LIVING

Cinemavixion Review

This survival horror offering plunges viewers into a post-outbreak world that is as desolate as it is dangerous. The narrative centers on a determined protagonist navigating a collapsed society, tasked with the harrowing mission of protecting his younger sister amidst a relentless tide of infected. The film’s strength lies in its raw, visceral portrayal of desperation and the primal instinct to survive when all semblance of order has dissolved. Fans of '28 Days Later' and 'It Comes at Night' will find a familiar, yet distinct, descent into madness. The direction crafts an atmosphere of palpable tension, emphasizing the claustrophobia and psychological toll of such an extreme environment. It’s a stark reminder of the fragility of civilization and the enduring power of familial bonds in the face of unimaginable horror.
