AMITYVILLE THEATER

Cinemavixion Review

John R. Walker's 'Amityville Theater' plunges viewers into a chilling descent into a haunted playhouse, where a group of teenagers uncovers a sinister link to the town's shadowed history. The narrative skillfully weaves elements of supernatural horror with a compelling mystery, as the protagonists find themselves ensnared by the theater's malevolent presence. Monèle LeStrat, Linden Baker, and Kennie Benoit deliver performances that capture the escalating terror and desperation of their characters. The film excels in building atmospheric dread, making the theater itself a character, pulsing with a history that refuses to stay buried. It's a solid entry into the haunted location subgenre, offering a tense and engaging experience for fans of supernatural thrillers.
