AMITYVILLE IN SPACE

Cinemavixion Review

Mark Polonia's "Amityville In Space" boldly transplants the infamous haunted house narrative into the cold vacuum of the cosmos, offering a unique twist on a familiar horror trope. The film's premise, where the cursed Amityville dwelling is exiled to outer space, is as audacious as it is intriguing, promising a blend of supernatural dread and science-fiction suspense reminiscent of genre classics like "Alien" and "Event Horizon." While the external data suggests a polarizing reception with a low IMDb rating, the sheer audacity of the concept and the commitment to its interstellar setting warrant attention. The narrative follows a team of astronauts confronting their deepest fears as the malevolent legacy of Amityville infiltrates their spacecraft, challenging their courage and unity. For fans seeking a departure from earthly hauntings and a dive into cosmic horror, this film presents a captivating, albeit potentially uneven, journey into the darkest corners of space.
