AMERICA'S MEANEST MAN: THE HITCHHIKER'S KILLER PEE WEE GASKINS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the chilling persona of Donald Gaskins Jr., a figure who earned the grim moniker 'America's Meanest Man' during the mid-20th century. Through the analysis of psychologists and criminology experts, the film dissects the disturbing psychology of a man whose diminutive stature belied a monstrous capacity for violence. Gaskins, a burglar turned prolific murderer, infamously spoke of a personal graveyard for his victims. While officially convicted for nine murders, his own claims suggest a far higher, horrifying body count. The documentary offers a stark look into the criminal mind, exploring the darkness that led Gaskins to commit atrocities and ultimately face execution in 1991. It serves as a grim examination of a notorious serial killer whose legacy is etched in fear and the unanswered questions surrounding the true extent of his crimes.
