AMERICAN CONJURING

Cinemavixion Review

The 2016 Canadian horror film 'American Conjuring,' directed by Dan Walton and Dan Zachary, plunges viewers into the unsettling atmosphere of an abandoned orphanage. The narrative follows a family who, upon moving into the seemingly charming building, discover its dark past and the chilling realization that they are not alone. While the film may not have garnered widespread critical acclaim, with an IMDb rating of 2.4/10, it presents a familiar yet potentially effective premise for fans of haunted house and supernatural thrillers. The low-budget production, evident in its presentation, might appeal to those who appreciate a more intimate and atmospheric approach to horror, focusing on suspense and the psychological impact of a malevolent presence within the orphanage's decaying walls.
