AMERICAN CONFEDERATE

Cinemavixion Review

Christopher Forbes's "American Confederate" plunges viewers into the tumultuous final years of the Civil War, chronicling the journeys of both Confederate and Union cavalry units from late 1862 to the war's conclusion in 1865. While the film's IMDb rating of 2.4/10 suggests a challenging reception, its narrative ambition lies in depicting the soldier's experience across opposing lines. The film, released in 2019 and running at 97 minutes, features performances from William Adams, Jezibell Anat, and Kimberly Campbell. It offers a stark look at the conflict through the lens of cavalrymen navigating the brutal realities of the era.
