ALTERED HOURS

Cinemavixion Review

Bruce Wemple's "Altered Hours" is a cerebral dive into the disorienting consequences of tampering with time and consciousness. The film centers on a young insomniac whose experimental sleep aid propels him forward in time, a day into his own future. This precognitive leap, however, plunges him into a terrifying mystery where he becomes the prime suspect in the disappearance of a girl he has yet to encounter. The narrative skillfully weaves a complex web of cause and effect, forcing the protagonist to confront a future he desperately tries to alter. Starring Ryan Munzert, Briana Pozner, and Rick Montgomery Jr., the film excels in its tense pacing and intriguing premise, offering a thought-provoking exploration of fate and free will within a sci-fi thriller framework. Despite its indie origins, "Altered Hours" delivers a compelling story that questions the very nature of perception and consequence.
