ALTAR: EVIL UNLEASHED plunges viewers into a chilling narrative of a reunion gone awry. The film follows a group of former classmates whose journey to a remote Sierra Nevada campsite takes a sinister turn when they stray from their path. What begins as a nostalgic trip quickly devolves into a desperate fight for survival as they unearth a malevolent force. Director Matt Sconce crafts a suspenseful atmosphere, trapping the characters in a cycle of escalating dread. The performances, particularly from Stefanie Estes, Brittany Falardeau, and Tim Parrish, convey the mounting terror and the characters' grim determination. As the friends grapple with the dark entity they've awakened, they must confront not only external dangers but the potential damnation of their very souls, making for a harrowing descent into the unknown.
