ALL IN TIME

Cinemavixion Review

"All in Time" is a poignant drama that delves into the complexities of chasing dreams and the sacrifices that come with them. Directed by Marina Donahue and Chris Fetchko, the film follows Charlie, who abandons his New York job to manage his hometown rock band, fueled by an unwavering optimism. His supportive girlfriend initially shares his passion, but the harsh realities of the music industry, embodied by the band's cynical guitarist, soon create friction. The narrative skillfully balances Charlie's escalating emotional and financial struggles with moments of unexpected warmth, particularly through the guidance of an elderly neighbor. The film is further enriched by its soundtrack, featuring the talents of The Badlees and Laura Shay, which underscores the musical aspirations at its core. While the film may not have garnered major awards, its eight wins and four nominations suggest a well-received indie effort. "All in Time" offers a relatable exploration of ambition, love, and the difficult choices that shape our lives, making it a compelling watch for those who appreciate character-driven stories with a musical backdrop.
