ALL IN

Cinemavixion Review

Nick Vallelonga's 2006 film "All In" presents a compelling, albeit somewhat niche, narrative that blends the high-stakes world of professional poker with the demanding environment of medical school. The plot follows six talented medical students who leverage their unique skills to compete in the World Series of Poker. While the external data provides a more detailed plot summary, highlighting the protagonist Alicia "Ace" Anderson's journey rooted in her father's teachings and the dual pressures of academic rigor and financial strain, the core premise is consistent across both datasets. The film stars Dominique Swain, Michael Madsen, and Louis Gossett Jr., whose presence adds a notable gravitas to the ensemble. Despite its intriguing premise, the film garnered a modest 3.8/10 rating on IMDb, suggesting it may not have reached a wide audience or critical acclaim, but it offers a unique blend of genres for those seeking something beyond the typical sports or medical drama.
