ALL BY MYSELF - KIT^N^KATE

Cinemavixion Review

In 'All by Myself,' the animated duo Kit and Kate embark on a simple yet resonant construction project: building a seesaw. The narrative cleverly illustrates the pitfalls of pride and the importance of collaboration. Kit, eager to prove his self-sufficiency, rushes through each step of the building process, from digging the hole to mounting the post and attaching the seats, often excluding Kate. While his individual efforts are swift, the story subtly questions the value of speed without teamwork. The resulting tension arises not from a faulty seesaw, but from Kate's reluctance to participate, highlighting the emotional cost of Kit's solitary endeavors. This episode serves as a gentle, accessible lesson for young viewers on the joys and effectiveness of working together, emphasizing that shared effort often leads to the most fulfilling outcomes.
