ALIEN INVASION

Cinemavixion Review

Marc Carreté's "Alien Invasion" plunges viewers into a chilling encounter with the unknown, masterfully blending journalistic inquiry with raw terror. The narrative follows a journalist's deep dive into a supposed extraterrestrial event, leading her to an old war shelter where the lines between reality and nightmare blur. Carreté skillfully builds suspense, utilizing the isolated setting to amplify the sense of dread. The performances, particularly from Julius Cotter, Liliana Cabal, and Joe Manjón, ground the fantastical elements with palpable fear and determination. While the film may not boast blockbuster accolades, its atmospheric tension and commitment to a claustrophobic, unsettling experience make it a compelling watch for fans of tight, creature-feature horror. It's a testament to Carreté's direction that a contained story delivers such potent chills.
