ALIEN: BATTLEFIELD EARTH

Cinemavixion Review

Andrew Jones' "Alien: Battlefield Earth" presents a familiar yet serviceable take on the alien invasion trope. Set in 2021, the film pits humanity against extraterrestrial visitors following a downed spacecraft. The narrative, while straightforward, effectively builds tension as diplomatic overtures devolve into conflict. Peter Cosgrove delivers a notable performance amidst the ensemble cast, anchoring the human response to the intergalactic threat. Though its runtime is concise, the movie offers a brisk pace and visual effects that serve the story's ambitious scope. "Alien: Battlefield Earth" is a solid entry for fans of classic sci-fi confrontation, delivering a direct and engaging cinematic experience.
