ALIEN APOCALYPSE

Cinemavixion Review

Josh Becker's "Alien Apocalypse" plunges audiences into a post-invasion Earth where humanity is subjugated. Bruce Campbell stars as Dr. Ivan Hood, an astronaut whose return from a perilous mission coincides with a global alien takeover. Alongside Renée O'Connor as Kelly, Hood must rally the surviving humans for a desperate rebellion against their extraterrestrial overlords. The film, released in 2005, showcases a familiar sci-fi premise with a B-movie charm, elevated by Campbell's signature charisma and O'Connor's resilient portrayal. While not a critical darling, its straightforward narrative and dedicated performances offer a compelling, albeit low-budget, vision of resistance against overwhelming odds. Fans of Campbell's work and straightforward sci-fi action will find a satisfying, if unpretentious, adventure.
