ALIEN ABDUCTION

Cinemavixion Review

Matty Beckerman's 'Alien Abduction' plunges viewers into a chilling encounter rooted in the unsettling folklore of the Brown Mountain Lights. The film masterfully employs a found-footage aesthetic, amplifying the terror as a family's camping trip devolves into a desperate fight for survival against extraterrestrial invaders. Katherine Sigismund anchors the narrative with a compelling performance, portraying a mother's fierce determination amidst escalating chaos. The young cast, particularly Corey Eid and Riley Polanski, deliver authentic reactions that heighten the sense of dread. While the film garnered a mixed reception, with a 29% on Rotten Tomatoes, its commitment to a visceral, grounded horror experience, inspired by real-world mysteries, offers a tense and atmospheric journey for fans of abduction narratives.
