ALIBI PERFETTO

Cinemavixion Review

Aldo Lado's "Alibi perfetto" (1992) is a captivating Italian thriller that plunges viewers into a tense cat-and-mouse game. The narrative follows Tony and Lisa, two dedicated police officers, as they pursue the elusive drug trafficker Mancini. However, their mission takes a darker turn with the emergence of a sinister serial killer known as "The Full Moon Killer," adding a layer of suspense and horror to the already high-stakes investigation. While the film may not have garnered widespread international acclaim or numerous awards, its strength lies in its atmospheric tension and intricate plot, characteristic of Lado's directorial style. Michael Woods, Kay Rush, and Annie Girardot deliver compelling performances, anchoring the film's complex web of crime and psychological suspense. "Alibi perfetto" offers a solid viewing experience for fans of gritty, European crime thrillers, demonstrating a commendable effort in blending police procedural elements with slasher-like menace.
