Cinemavixion Review

This installment of 'Real Responders' plunges viewers into the high-stakes world of customs and border control. The episode highlights the ingenuity of smugglers and the sharp instincts of customs agents and their K-9 units. We witness a tense confrontation as an airline worker is apprehended with a staggering 10,000 untaxed cigarettes, a clear attempt at illicit resale. The plot thickens with the discovery of drugs concealed on his person, underscoring the dual nature of smuggling operations. The narrative expands to the freight terminal, where the keen nose of sniffer dog Lucy uncovers a sophisticated cocaine smuggling ring using baseballs as a clever disguise. Further diversifying the threats, the UK Border animal product team actively seeks out illegal Ukrainian sausage, showcasing the broad spectrum of prohibited items. Filmed across Gatwick and Bristol Airports, the documentary offers a compelling look at the meticulous work involved in safeguarding national borders against contraband and illegal substances.
