AGE ISN'T EVERYTHING

Cinemavixion Review

"Age Isn't Everything" presents a fascinating, if somewhat uneven, exploration of life's unexpected detours. The premise—a young man suddenly transformed into an elderly version of himself—offers a unique lens through which to examine regret, ambition, and the passage of time. Jonathan Silverman, in the lead role, navigates this challenging transformation with a performance that captures both the bewilderment and the burgeoning wisdom of his altered state. Robert Prosky and Rita Moreno provide grounding as figures from his past, now thrust into his present. While the film grapples with profound themes, its execution occasionally feels constrained, yet the core concept remains compelling. It serves as a poignant reminder that life's true aspirations may not always align with our initial plans, and that fulfillment can be found in the most unexpected of transformations.
