Cinemavixion Review
This 1922 biblical epic, "After Six Days," offers a grand spectacle, purportedly filmed at the actual historical sites of Old Testament events. Advertised as a major production, it ambitiously chronicles stories from the creation of Adam and Eve through the parting of the Red Sea. Despite its significant international box-office success, which has intrigued film scholars, much about its production remains obscure. The version available today is derived from the sole known complete 16mm print of the 1929 sound reissue, making it a rare artifact for cinephiles and historians alike.
