ADOPTING TERROR

Cinemavixion Review

Micho Rutare's 2012 film 'Adopting Terror' delves into the unsettling premise of a couple's joyous adoption turning into a harrowing ordeal. Sean Astin and Samaire Armstrong star as Tim and Cheryl Broadbent, whose happiness is shattered by the relentless intrusion of Mona's biological father. The narrative skillfully builds suspense as the father's tactics escalate from intimidation to outright violence, testing the couple's resolve and their commitment to protecting their newfound daughter. While the film may not boast critical accolades, its exploration of parental fears and the lengths one would go to for family makes for a tense and engaging watch, particularly for fans of domestic thrillers.
