ADOPTING TERROR

Cinemavixion Review

Micho Rutare's "Adopting Terror" plunges viewers into a harrowing narrative of parental fear and the lengths to which one will go to protect their family. The film masterfully explores the dark side of adoption, where the joy of new parenthood is overshadowed by a relentless threat from the biological father. Sean Astin and Samaire Armstrong deliver compelling performances as a couple whose idyllic life unravels under escalating intimidation and violence. The tension is palpable as their desperate fight for their daughter's safety unfolds, making for a suspenseful and emotionally charged viewing experience. While the film delves into grim territory, it serves as a stark reminder of the complexities and potential dangers that can lurk beneath the surface of seemingly ordinary lives. Its exploration of primal protective instincts is both chilling and thought-provoking.
