ADDICTED

Cinemavixion Review

This film delves into the harrowing journey of a college football player grappling with escalating substance dependency. As his academic, athletic, and personal lives teeter on the brink, the narrative offers a stark portrayal of the internal and external battles waged against addiction. The film's exploration of the pressures faced by young athletes, compounded by personal struggles, invites a critical look at the systemic and individual challenges that can lead to such dependencies. While the specifics of the player's journey and its resolution are central, the film's strength lies in its unflinching examination of the psychological and social dimensions of addiction, prompting reflection on the support systems available and the profound impact on one's future.
