ACROSS THE LINE: THE EXODUS OF CHARLIE WRIGHT

Cinemavixion Review

R. Ellis Frazier's "Across the Line: The Exodus of Charlie Wright" plunges viewers into the shadowy world of financial deceit and desperate flight. Aidan Quinn stars as Charlie Wright, a titan of industry whose empire crumbles under the weight of a Ponzi scheme, forcing him into exile in Tijuana. What begins as a quest for redemption, or perhaps a lost love from his past, quickly escalates into a high-stakes pursuit. Charlie finds himself on the run not only from the consequences of his actions but also from a relentless Mexican gangster, a determined federal agent, and vengeful former clients baying for their lost fortunes. The film masterfully blends elements of crime, drama, and thriller, creating a tense narrative that explores the moral complexities of wealth and the lengths to which one will go to escape their past. Despite a modest IMDb rating of 5.3, the film offers a compelling character study set against the backdrop of international intrigue, making it a worthy watch for fans of the genre.
