ABSOLUTE CRIME

Cinemavixion Review

This collection of true crime narratives, presented under the title "Absolute Crime," delves into the darker aspects of human nature across various unsettling cases. Each segment presents a puzzle, often beginning with a violent death and a seemingly straightforward explanation that unravels under closer scrutiny. The recurring theme is the stark contrast between the idyllic settings – small towns, affluent neighborhoods, or even the vast California desert – and the brutal realities of murder and deceit that fester beneath the surface. The narratives highlight the complexities of investigations, where appearances can be deceiving and the pursuit of justice often uncovers tangled webs of secrets, affairs, and hidden motives. While the directorial and casting details are not provided, the strength of these stories lies in their chillingly plausible accounts of crime and the often-surprising conclusions they reach, leaving the viewer to ponder the depths of human desperation and the elusive nature of truth.
