ABRAHAM LINCOLN VS ZOMBIES

Cinemavixion Review

In a bold reimagining of a pivotal historical era, 'Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies' plunges the 16th President into an unimaginable conflict. As the nation grapples with the Civil War, Lincoln finds himself confronting a far more primal threat: the reanimated dead. This genre-bending narrative, helmed by director Richard Schenkman, is a unique fusion of historical drama and horror, offering a surprisingly earnest portrayal of Lincoln, embodied by Bill Oberst Jr. The film cleverly uses the backdrop of the Civil War to amplify the stakes of its supernatural premise. While the Rotten Tomatoes and Metascore data are unavailable, the film's distinctive concept and commitment to its outlandish premise make it a curious, albeit niche, addition to the cinematic landscape. It's a testament to the enduring fascination with Lincoln, reimagined through a modern, genre-infused lens.
