ABOVE THE CLOUDS

Cinemavixion Review

Leon Chambers' 2018 film, "Above the Clouds," is a charming British comedy that explores themes of identity and unexpected alliances. The narrative follows Charlie, an 18-year-old who, upon learning of a hidden family secret, embarks on a road trip to Scotland. To achieve her goal, she enlists the help of a homeless man, creating a dynamic duo tasked with navigating the journey and uncovering the truth about her biological father. Despite its modest IMDb rating of 6.0 and limited box office information, the film garnered positive attention, securing 7 wins and 1 nomination. "Above the Clouds" offers a heartwarming and often humorous look at self-discovery and the connections we forge in the most unlikely circumstances.
