ABOVE SNAKES

Cinemavixion Review

Tyler Smith's 'Above Snakes' plunges into the gritty world of revenge with a compelling Western-tinged narrative. The film centers on Coleman Dobbs, a man whose life has been irrevocably altered by a wrongful conviction. Upon his release, Dobbs embarks on a relentless pursuit of justice, or perhaps vengeance, against those who wronged him, specifically targeting the judge who sentenced him. The plot takes a dark turn as Dobbs considers extracting his revenge by targeting the judge's daughter, raising the stakes and moral complexities of his quest. While the external data indicates a 2022 release and a runtime of 78 minutes, and notes a modest IMDb rating, the core of the story resonates with a classic tale of retribution set against a stark landscape. The film invites audiences to question the nature of justice and the devastating consequences of a life derailed.
