ABNORMAL ATTRACTION

Cinemavixion Review

Michael Leavy's "Abnormal Attraction" (2018) plunges viewers into a fantastical realm where the coexistence of mythical creatures and humans is a fragile reality. The film adeptly weaves together three distinct narratives, exploring themes of prejudice and insecurity that threaten to tear this unique world apart. Starring Bruce Davison, Nathan Reid, and Nicole Balsam, the movie offers a compelling blend of adventure, comedy, and fantasy, as evidenced by its 7 wins and 14 nominations. Despite a modest IMDb rating of 4.3/10, the film's ambitious premise and character-driven storylines make it a noteworthy exploration of societal divides, even among the fantastical. "Abnormal Attraction" invites audiences to consider the challenges of unity in a world marked by difference.
